Sometimes strange things happen with web forums and e-mail notifications. I’ve recently received two notifications for posts here by @tomasz86 warning that some other posts in the respective topic could contain spam. When trying to find the same post on the forum, they don’t exist at all. I’m trying to find out whether such a warning was actually posted, or if somebody hacked some piece of infrastructure somewhere. Maybe that one account, maybe the backend or the mail provider?
Here goes the two messages, headers generously trimmed:

The post right above this one is spam. It contains ad links hidden in the dots. It cannot be flagged again, so I'm leaving this information out here.

The last post right above this one is a spam (check the URL text), but it can't be flagged, so I'm just leaving this out here.
The same applies to the last post in [https://forum.syncthing.net/t/status-messages-on-both-devices-are-different/18336/3](https://forum.syncthing.net/t/status-messages-on-both-devices-are-different/18336/3). I think the idea is to post a random comment, and then edit it much later to avoid being caught by the spam filter or user reports.

Any explanation? Did someone get similarly confusing notifications?
