Hello everyone, I use a translator. My problem is that I play on a PC and a Steam Deck and sync using syncthing. I played on a Steam Deck, went about 20 hours further from the save on the PC, and in fact they should have synced, but no, I went into the game on the PC there was an old save, after which I went into the Steam Deck and there again was an old save that apparently was transferred from the PC, I started trying to erase the saves and rewrite them to no avail. As a result, after about 5 hours I went into the game on the Steam Deck and oh my god the save that was the last somehow appeared, now I went back to the PC again it again did not sync with the PC, but synced with the PC on the Steam Deck, and again my save is lost, how can I get my save back? It worked for me the first time, it just happened
If I understand the flow of events correctly, the game was played on both the PC and Steam Deck before the Steam Deck had a chance to push all of its updated game saves to the PC.
If that is what happened, there might be spare copies of the Steam Deck’s game save files on the PC (read the “Conflicting Changes” section for details: https://docs.syncthing.net/users/syncing.html#conflicting-changes).
But if something else happened, then unfortunately the updated game save files you want might be lost. There are techniques for trying to recover deleted files, but it is well beyond the scope of this forum.
