I have managed to reproduce the file undelete behaviour. I can’t really provide the exact steps though, as it doesn’t seem consistent, but what I did was to basically put two PDF files in a synced folder and then keep making copies and renaming the files on the Windows device. The Android device kept undeleting the files that have been either renamed to something else or completely deleted on Windows.
I’m uploading the two logs with db,model
enabled below. Please have a look at them when you’ve got some free time.
- syncthing1-windows.log (337.2 KB)
- syncthing2-android.log (210.4 KB)
I’m not an expert when it comes to debug logs, but these lines look suspicious to me.
[HIMFB] DEBUG: sendreceive/wnzi9-9inwy@0x4001480800 Deleting file 1 - Copy.pdf
[HIMFB] DEBUG: sendreceive/wnzi9-9inwy@0x4001480800 new error for 1 - Copy.pdf: delete file: file modified but not rescanned; will try again later
Also, is InodeChangeTime:1970-01-01 01:00:00 +0100 CET
normal?
