Just had a quick look at Zulip, which reminded me to ask. Can / is Syncthing used as part of a chat program?

The Ind.ie people are using an old version of syncthing as the base for their Heartbeat stuff, which is essentially that. I’m not convinced it’s a perfect fit, really.

I guess even a text-file in a shared folder could do the trick with a little tweaking.
