I recently installed this and it asked me if i wanted to enable firewall protection with a windows defender popup after, i didnt pay much mind to it because i thought i was downloading from the official repository, but when i finished installing it my browser opened up saying that an ip i dont recognise tried stealing my credit card information, should i be worried?
“tried stealing my credit card information” is nonsense unless Syncthing indeed asked for your credit card, in which case you should worry.
my apologies, im just very inexperienced and new to this stuff and it just gave me a bit of a scare
