It is hard to find the download page from https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/. That latter page does have a link to a ‘getting started’ guide but that guide does not talk about downloads. I could reach https://syncthing.net/downloads/ (or be reminded of its URL) only via a websearch.
Well, we can’t do much about the GitHub layout. We could link to the site and downloads from some prominent position high up in the README though.

Not that much: any web search engines replay with syncthing.net as 1st answer. And Github has a link to all releases on right pane.
But i did need first time some time to find the correct download page, too…
