Is it possible use links to sync linked files?

Hello,

I was trying to share the same file in multiple repositories without copy the content in each of the folders. I want only 1 file in my computer shared in multiple repos.

I tryed to solutions:

  • Symbolic links: When you sync the repo, it copy the file link but not the reference.
  • Hard links: It’s works fine.

Are there other posibility to do this job?

Not currently. In theory we could attempt hard links when we know we already have an identical file.

I’ll try this solution.

I was thinking that you can’t use it to mount files just directories.
