"Invalid characters" message still appears after the problem was resolved

Hello,

I started using syncthing two days ago with a Linux box, a Windows box and a Mac.

One filename contained a question mark, which the windows box did not like (“contains invalid characters; marked as invalid.”). No problem, I renamed it at the source (Linux). The file has been synced to Windows correctly in the meantime.

But still now (two days and multiple restarts of all machines later), the web-GUI on the Windows-box is constantly annoying me with the yellow “Notice”-message for this same problem.

Is it possible that this is some interaction with file versioning? I am using “Staggered File Versioning” on all sides.

Any ideas?

The fact that the message appears implies that the file still exists, and the message tells you where it exists.
