I just cant get it to work at all..

I watched Videos, searched up in reddit, followed different guides… Im trying to sync a minecraft world folder with my Steamdeck and pc. I installed the application on both devices and let them find each other. Now, i tried the method adding the path of the folder to the world in there and enabling that both can send and receive files. Either way tried, my steam deck says that it synced up which it confirms in the last thing done tab. However, not a single folder does get tranfered in the set folder, nor in the made Sync folder on the Steamdeck. Im desperatly trying it for 2 hours and would really love some guys to explain it in a easy way, that someone without the best english or pc skills can understand. I would also provide more data if i would know whats acually useful… The only error i got was the “More than 1 introducer” error which leaded me here: Introducer Configuration — Syncthing documentation I dont think that it causes the problem but when i went on that page it told me why it was wrong but not how to solve it…

So yeah, please help a completly desperate idiot like me! Thanks a lot!

The issue likely caused by how Syncthing is installed on the Steam Deck and lack of permissions. Someone else with enough experience with the device may be able to provide specific instructions, but for now, I’d suggest searching the forum for “steam deck” as there have been quite a few topics related to setting Syncthing up on it.

Could also be as simple as mismatching folder IDs on the devices. Please share some screenshots of the Web GUI on both sides, with the respective folder panel unfolded.

Regarding the “Introducer” feature, I doubt it has anything to do with this. However, it sounds like you do not really need any introducer stuff, so better disable that option wherever you enabled it.

Thank You! Im not very much into linux, definetly will do that!

Idont think so since i get notifications that something synchronized. But iwill send it a bit later on, appreciate it!
