How to Sync Folders With Admin Access

I’m trying to sync some program files folders with Syncthing, but I’m encountering an error message: “Failed to create folder root directory CreateFile [directory]: Access is denied.”

I understand these folders likely require admin access to make changes.

  • Is there a way to securely grant Syncthing admin access?
  • If not, are there alternative solutions to achieve file synchronization for program files folders with Syncthing?

I haven’t used that myself though, so hope someone else will chime in if that doesn’t answer your questions.
