how to setup the -audit and -verbose option?

can anyone teach me how to setup the --audit and --verbose option?

i have syncthing installed on linux mint.

i use the GUI only to interact with syncthing and i would like to save a log file of the recent changes. the docs say to use --audit and --verbose option but i dont know how to.

i opened the terminal and entered syncthing --audit but it said syncthing not installed. can anyone please teach me how to setup the --audit and --verbose for someone who is a complete newbie like me? thanks

This will depend on how you’ve installed Syncthing and set it up to start automatically (if you have). You need to add those arguments to the command there, so that they are applied when you actually start Syncthing. You cannot “add” them once Syncthing is already running.
