How to check version number partially installed syncthing-fork

Was in the processes of installing syncthing-fork with f-droid. Uninstalled syncthing and started installing syncthing-fork:

Android 13 samsung s21 F-Droid version 1.20.0 syncthing-fork version 1.27.7.0

Getting prompted to Update Syncthing-Fork It is uninstalled from Setting>>Apps

Message when I try to update:

Error installing Syncthing-Fork INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE Existing package com.github.catfriend1.syncthingandroid signatures do not match newer version; ingnoring!

Using myfile app to delete thing file. I am still getting the same error. Where or how can I locate this file. Thought if I try installing the older version it thinks is installed I could get around this problem. Also update F-droid to latest version, did not help same error as above. Suggestions?

Hi,

It seems like there’s a previous installation from gplay on your device which needs to be uninstalled first? (Remember exporting your data).

Thank you, reinstalled play store version of syncthing-fork, then uninstalled it. Was then able to install f-droid version.
