I just copied my config files from an installation of Syncthing-GTK to the folder for the standard Syncthing install. I would expect it to realize at some point that the folders it’s looking at are already synced - probably I didn’t succeed at finding the cache, but at the very least it should scan the local folders and realize that they’re identical to the remote ones, with maybe a few files different. Instead it simply knuckles down and gets right to work syncing all 100+ GB of already synced data on my wifi while I’m trying to watch Netflix. Is there a solution for this, short of just unpausing the folders overnight?
Very simple solution apparently. Pause all the devices and press rescan all on the folders.
