I am a ïrst-uster" and installed the program on my linux desktop and laptop. I made the mistake to use a GUI login, but it is unreachable now on my laptop. Spontaniously, it changed itself from a 13 digitpassword which I saved to something an odd 30 characters long. How do I restore my access to te GUI-interface on my laptop? (It runs on fedora linux).

You’ll need to edit the config file. Make a copy of the file first. On my Linux machine, it’s at /home/chaos/.local/state/syncthing/config.xml. Look for “gui enabled” and you’ll see an <address> line followed by <user> and <password> lines. Delete those and restart Syncthing to regain GUI access.
