Global Discovery suddenly not working on one device

I have encountered this problem today for the very first time. Basically, a few hours ago, one device suddenly disconnected and hasn’t connected so far. I have checked the situation, and this is what it looks like.

global@https://discovery-v4.syncthing.net/v2/: Post "https://discovery-v4.syncthing.net/v2/": net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

It is a Windows 10 machine, and the only thing that I can think of right now is that also today new Windows updates have been installed, which may have broken something, although the Event Viewer looks fine. Nothing else has been touched when it comes to the system settings in Windows though.

On a side note, a different Android device on the very same network has no problems connecting, so I’m suspecting something on the Windows computer. However, there have been no changes to the Syncthing configuration itself, so I’m kind of out ideas about what could have broken so suddenly.

As this is the very first time that I have experienced this kind of an issue, how can I at least try to troubleshoot this? I have done the obvious, such as restarting the PC, etc., but the situation hasn’t changed so far.

That smells of firewall/AV getting in the way.

The device started to connect again after a few hours with no changes done to the configuration, so I’m not sure what the culprit was about. Everything seems to be working fine now nevertheless.
