After finally tiring of being blinded by the forum at night, I’ve fixed the dark theme stuff a bit. The dark theme is now good (I think) where it was previously only adequate. But more importantly, you can now set your preference to “Default theme” (light) and check “automatic dark mode” to get the site to follow your system preferences.

Hi, for a couple of days the forum is always in light theme, even dark theme is configured. Am I the only one who sees this? I cleaned the cache, restarted the browser of course but no change..

Yeah me too, I was really annoyed by this yesterday evening. It seems something changed about how they do themes in the latest update, and I haven’t had the time/energy to troubleshoot or redo whatever it is that needs doing. It’s possible to set a dark theme on your personal preferences but it was some ugly purple variant that’s not our normal dark theme…

I think I’ve fixed this, I now have the usual settings on my preferences page and auto dark mode works again.
