I recently heard about Syncthing and wanted to test the software. As I look after several cell phones in my family, the application runs on my Windows server. (Windows 10) After installation, I connected a Samsung Galaxy A12. The synchronization is working so far, but all folders are now duplicated in the gallery app.
What can I try so that the folders are not displayed twice? Can they simply be deleted?

Sounds like a problem with the gallery app. Maybe a caching issue? You can try to clear the gallery app cache (not data!) using the Android settings and see if it helps.
Please do not try to remove the “duplicated” folder using the gallery app, as that can very well delete the real folder from the disk.

Thank you for the quick response. The problem was actually only triggered by - -, but not caused. Android duplicated the folders for some inexplicable reason.
I have set everything up again and the problem is now solved.
