Hi. Love Syncthing!
I have a question about the folder scanning and watcher. Syncthing is running on a Pi and for a lot of the folders other devices are making changes and not the Pi. That is to say the Pi is almost just a host and the file changes are coming from external. For these folders is either the folder scanner or file watcher needed?
If you’re not making any changes on the device at all, then I’d they’re not really needed, and especially not the watcher. I personally still keep the scanner active, but I set the interval to 86400 (1 day) instead of the default 3600 (1 hour).
