Folder is not shared

I am truly a total noob here is I apologize in advance. My question deals with Truenas.and Syncthing. I installed Syncthing in Truenas as well as on my windows desktop. On my windows desktop I have a shared folder that I want to sync to my Truenas server. So I setup a dataset called it downloads. Similar set up on windows- directed path to the downloads. Now back to TN, folder not shared. What did I miss? When I tried to change the share under the share tab, I can’t save my changes. It won’t allow me to save any changes. Not sure what the folder id should be also. I know that I did something wrong, just can’t seem to find anything either online or on forums either so I am stuck her. Please help!!

Please check Introduction — Syncthing documentation if you haven’t already.

Basically, what you need to do create a folder on one side, add the remote device while also sharing the folder with it, then on the other side, accept the connection, then accept the folder. The folder ID will be generated automatically and you don’t need to input it manually anywhere.

If you still cannot figure it out, please share screenshots of your current situation on both sides.
