Hi, I keep getting this error when creating a new folder in a new tenant of Syncthing I have. I have used this product for years and suddenly on a new tenant I get this issue
Failed to create folder root directory mkdir /home/marioeng_p27850/TEST: permission denied
Apparently the user running Syncthing doesn’t have write permissions there.
That is the strange thing. This account was linked through a service (EvoSeedBox) and has always worked in the past like that. Suddenly now, a new account of which this user is the admin. Where and how would I check this?
That depends on your operating system. Treat it like any other permission issue on your system.
