Hi
I get this error since some days, maybe after a small android update (not sure). The GUI banner complains about
lstat /storage/emulated: no such file or directory
for my 2 shares. Each also show
Rescans 1h Failed to setup, retrying
I read the announce about the end of ST official android, but any help (other than disabling FS watcher and set interval to something less hungry than 60s) would be appreciated.

ST is 1.28.0 from F-Droid/ Android 14
Can you post screenshots from the Web GUI with the error visible? Is there anything special about the folder paths?

I can’t guess anything special with these dirs:
Below the command is ls -ld running as root, and u0_a184 is magisk
That looks as normal as it gets indeed. Can’t think of anything really, except some very unlikely long shot: Sometimes android decides to reset app permissions - double check syncthing still has all file access (though you should get all kinds of errors, not just on the watcher if it doesn’t).
It works ok:
I added the Camera permission (I don’t remember I permitted or not on first install).
Then I checked Settings/Behaviour and left as is (Extended directories selection and Start WebGUI ON - Start as service OFF)
Rebooted (what I did not since I noticed the issue)

Sorry for the noise. Maybe an edge effect of USA election?
