Feature (Android App): Barcode Scanner in the app

It’s annoying to install another app (even if it’s so small) just to scan the ID, I always Copy the ID to Google Keep from my PC and use it on my phone.

There’s a good open source Barcode Reader if you want to use it, I don’t think it’s a necessary feature but it’s great to see it there.

and Thanks in Advance

I’m currently using “Binary Eye” from Markus Fisch. See https://f-droid.org/packages/de.markusfisch.android.binaryeye/ for more info.

Just a quick FYI that the stock camera app in Android 9 and up has built-in barcode and QR code support. Even phones that run older versions of Android might have it too via the manufacturer’s default camera app.
