Failed to install inotify handler for xxxxx. please increase inotify limits?
I am using syncthing/synchting-inotify and am getting the error described above. This is a fork from a-m-s/syncthing-inotify.

How do i increase the size?

Now I’m going to assume you’ve already read it, since it would be silly not to, but that means I’m not sure what you’re actually asking. What did you try? What happened?
Ah i didn’t get it because it was inotify wathers linux limits. For some reason didn’t get that part. I used the following syntax: devel-su enter password echo “fs.inotify.max_user_watches=204800” | tee -a /etc/sysctl.conf
Which worked!
