Just wondering if this is possible, otherwise I would need to change the folder structure, moving this subfolder to the level of the synced parent folder and add it seperately to Syncthing. This would intensify our work as the folder structure is used by other systems.

It’s not possible out of the box, but you could write your own versioning script and use external versioner.
