It would be great if Syncthing could send an email if there is an issue during sync. Something like one email a day would work just fine.
This could be done by an external component talking to the API.

Also possible would be a check not depending from Syncthing itself, maybe a script which creates and checks a file modify date. If this is then out of range, send a mail, or report.
