I once synced a folder that contained some files with invalid filenames. I’ve since removed the folder from all nodes, but I’m still getting this persistent error:
Dropping index entry for electowiki/electowiki/\Beatpath.mw, contains invalid path separator
This file no longer exists anywhere. How do I make syncthing forget that it ever existed?
You can’t unless you reset databases everywhere synchronously (make sure they are in sync first).
syncthing -reset-database
Should I file an issue on Github then?
No, there is already a ticket for deleting old forgotten entries, but it’s hard to implement in the current protocol design.
