connections to external when is disabled

Hi, all

Why are connections to external addresses occurring if this is disabled in the settings? I searched the forum and found that this is most often related to relays, but relaying is disabled and the IP address is not in the relay database. Firewall is setting to deny all external connections and allow LAN.

Help pls!

Firewall log:

AppID :	10252
App Name: Syncthing-Fork
Total Packets Blocked: 43
[128]168.187.9.221:0(43)

My settings:

Enable NAT traversal - disabled
Global Discovery - disabled
Enable Relaying - disabled
Anonymous Usage Reporting - disabled
Anonymous Crash Reporting - disabled
Automatic upgrade - disabled

I am using:

Syncthing-Fork Wrapper v.2.0.10.2

Syncthing v.2.0.10

Installed from f-droid.

My specific question:

Why is there a connection to a suspicious external address when I have disabled all external connections in the settings, including relays?

Enable NAT traversal - disabled
Global Discovery - disabled
Enable Relaying - disabled
Anonymous Usage Reporting - disabled
Anonymous Crash Reporting - disabled
Automatic upgrade - disabled

Just a side note, but how DO you intend to have your devices connect to each other when all these options are disabled? Have you entered remote device addresses directly?

The only other idea that comes to mind is some internal phone-home functionality in the Webview for the embedded browser? At least when using the Web GUI instead of the native app interface. Otherwise, sorry I don’t know.

Just for the record, you can check all IPs belonging to relays at https://relays.syncthing.net. The one listed in this topic isn’t included there though (at least right now, as it could have been there in the past).
