Hello! I have a syncthing server hosted in a truenas scale server that is connected to my lan, I just got a new windows machine that I want to connect to it which is currently connected to my wifi. I installed the syncthing using this guide, I also tried changing the dynamic to the specific TCP ip and port, This screenshot if from my syncthing server, It seems the windows machine is refusing the connection, I also tried turning off the firewall of my windows machine, I have 2 other machines (macbooks) that works flawlessly, is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot this and make it work? Thanks!
Please make sure that the network in Windows is set to private and not public (see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/make-a-wi-fi-network-public-or-private-in-windows-0460117d-8d3e-a7ac-f003-7a0da607448d).
@tomasz86 it seems that worked after i turned off the firewall completely, is I was under the impression that the installer created some firewall rules to enable syncthing in windows? Is there anything I can do to check? Thank you very much
Syncthing Windows Setup does create a firewall rule allowing access to syncthing.exe
