Didn’t renew discosrv.tk. Does anyone still need/ use the community discovery server?
I think one of the discovery servers is now hosted somewhere where it’s not blocked by Russia which should make the default servers work, but I guess someone from Russia can clarify.
Do discovery servers join a global pool of some sort (like relays)? If yes, I can run one to contribute. My box is not (currently) blocked in russia.
No, they don’t do much (nor in terms or work nor in terms of traffic), so no point in having a pool of them. Plus you have to advertise yourself to all of them in order for anyone to be able to find it on any one of them.
