Can't sync from new phone to laptop

Hi

I have an Android device. I’m unable to sync between this device and my laptop.

Sync was working fine with my older phone.

With the new phone on same wifi network, I get the following message in my laptop terminal while running syncthing.

2025-08-31 15:36:56 INF Detected NAT services (count=1 log.pkg=nat)
2025-08-31 15:37:30 WRN Failed to acquire open port (mapping=0.0.0.0:22000/UDP id=NAT-PMP@10.54.193.53 error="getting new lease on NAT-PMP@10.54.193.53 (external port 40743 -> internal port 22000): read udp 10.54.193.129:55066->10.54.193.53:5351: recvfrom: connection refused" log.pkg=nat)
2025-08-31 15:37:40 WRN Failed to acquire open port (mapping="[::]:22000/TCP" id=NAT-PMP@10.54.193.53 error="getting new lease on NAT-PMP@10.54.193.53 (external port 40743 -> internal port 22000): read udp 10.54.193.129:51318->10.54.193.53:5351: recvfrom: connection refused" log.pkg=nat)

10.54.193.53 is phone’s local IP.

I’m not able to figure out what the solution should be and I’ll be happy to receive some help.

The laptop runs EndeavourOS with syncthing package. Phone has Android 15 with Syncthing-Fork.

Update

the sync eventually happened, although it parts. It synced some, then halted. Then automatically synced more.

This is unlikely to be the root cause of the problem, since this is about failing to open a port to the Internet, when they are in the same local network from what I understand.

It’s more likely to be related to Slow sync from android to windows.
