I recently switched to Win11 on my desktop. I can get Keepass XC and Keepass DX databases to sync between my Android phone and Win11 desktop okay. I want DCIM\Camera folder to be sent to from phone to Win11 desktop but can’t get it to work. I can send pictures to my WIn10 laptop just fine. Any idea where I might be going wrong?
Also phone shows as disconnected on desktop and I’m not sure why.
Please post screenshots of the GUI for all three Devices, with the Folder you’re sharing expanded, and on the phone expand both Remote Devices and show us those screenshots as well.
Your screnshots show Phone and LittleHero connected, and Hero and Tablet are connected. I’m thinking that you want all of your devices connected and syncing.
You mentioned three Devices previously — do you have four Devices?
Do the Device IDs match on each side? What I mean is, obtain the Device ID for each one, and compare the configuration on every one with the IDs. If the IDs do not match for any reason, they will never connect. If that’s the case, I recommend you delete the incorrect Remote Devices and re-establish the connections.
If that’s not it, I would next recommend troubleshooting network connectivity. Can each Device ping every other Device?
I have it working now. I ended up removing all folders and all remote devices from every device and started from scratch. I think I was still confused about how and when to use introducer. I scanned the 2 PC QR codes with the Android devices with introducer checked. I also had auto accept checked but it didn’t seem to do anything how is this supposed to work? I had to manually accept the android devices.
Using the QR code to pair the 2 android devices didn’t work. I had to use the alpha-numeric code.
The whole process seemed to be a trial & error process for me.
Introducer is about automatically adding devices that share the same folder, and Auto Accept is for automatically adding folders shared by the other device. Honestly, unless you’ve got a large setup and make constant changes (e.g. adding new devices, adding new folders, etc.), enabling them isn’t usually necessary.
