hi If so how do the ports and home dirs etc map themselves and not trample over each other?

I don’t see this documented in detail anywhere? It is referenced as a possibility in the FAQ with a remark to lookup the config file docs, but I see no actual reference to it in the config file docs?

Can somebody summarise or lay out the required changes. please? tks

Syncthing takes -home command line argument which tells it where to store configs etc.

You then have to change the ports manually, for the protocol address, gui, local discovery. The docs explain what “default” consists of.
