Can i put a password when starting the Android App?

Hello! I would like to be able to put a password to login to Syncthing as is possible on Windows, in order to protect my settings from being changed.

Mhm, on Windows I guess you refer to the GUI/web-password. Access to the GUI (on Android) is limited by default. Firstly it’s only accessible from localhost without changing anything and secondly it’s protected with the API key as password (and syncthing as user) if I’m not mistaken (reading back an old pr).

As far as I know it’s not natively possible to password protect the app, nor do I think that it would add much anyways. If your device is properly protected, an app-password won’t do much. Same with Windows really, if you can access Windows you may as well just adjust the plain config file to reset the password…
