I can tell you ahead of time, that the experience you’ll get will be most likely unusable. Golang does not currently support MIPS, so it’s unlikely you’ll get it working. You can try compiling with Go 1.8 RC which has experimental support for MIPs as long as the board supports floating point operations on the processor.
