Hi, I’m using syncthing in order to synchronize folders between my laptop (GNU/linux ubuntu mate 16.04 64 bit) and my smartphone (android 9). I read here about configuring LAN and WAN synchronization, however in my case syncthing always uses the global discovery. If I disable global discovery, the two devices will not connect each other. Could be something related to my router (openWRT 18.04)? The devices are connected to the same WLAN. Thank you
Your network needs to permit multicast/broadcasts, as well as your OS.
Check if isolate clients Option is checked in openwrt for the ssid they are connected to. It needs to be disabled.
