I have a brand new installation of Linux Mint 22.2 subsequently upgraded to 22.3. Installed syncthing, synced some files with old Windows machine. After new boot, there is now an “Authentication Required”. Never willingly set anything! The config.xml does not seem to have a <password>…</password> line I could remove, as another topic/thread here suggested. EDIT: In order to so, I had the process killed. I restarted syncthing now manually, and no more login needed, also tray app connected. (Wasn’t before.) This is, of course, not how I would expect it to work.
