Android version doubt

Hi everyone! I have some concerns about the version is installed on my android device:

Version 1.27.6.2 (4390) suggested Added on Jul 21, 2024 (F-Droid details) https://f-droid.org/packages/com.nutomic.syncthingandroid/

but in the official github, I can’t find it: https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing-android/releases the latest is 1.27.6 (4388)

Isn’t that strange? Could someone please enlight on this?

Thank you

That’s me trying to get syncthing-android back onto google play. You can find the tags on github, that’s where F-Droid builds them from. I didn’t create any github releases, as there are no tangible changes (only google play metadata and version number bumps required to re-publish there). More of those might happen. Bit annoying that they trigger an F-Droid update, but I don’t see a simple way around that. An obvious one would be to use RC tags, but I need to publish to all channels in google play and on the off chance it’s successful, I don’t want to push an RC (and associated behaviour like usage reporting) to everyone on the non-beta channel.

That’s OK. I was scared it was a version upload by a malicious part. Thank you for your work!
