This appears to work hardcoding ip addresses that is.
The firewall is opened for ports 22000 and 21027 TCP and UDP as the manual recommends. What else do I need?

Have you given it 10min to connect?
You could run with STRACE=connections env var and post the logs.
It did connect, as I said, using the hardcoded addresses.
I will post the new log file for you to peruse.
Well the log would only be interesting when not using hardcoded ips.
Then the one that’s posted from Dec 29, 10:05 pm would match what you want. The only thing changed from that log was that I hardcoded IP addresses.
That does not look like the log I am after
Sorry, I missed what you requested. I will rerun with STTRACE=connections and post.
It works. Even with both ends using ‘dynamic’, it works.

The only thing different that I know of is my OpenBSD syncthing client auto-updated itself since last trial. Dunno if that would have made a difference.
