Hello,

I am using arch. I am using 1.19 version. I have noticed that I can not longer identify the folder id while adding new folder for sync. Folder id section is greyed out and displays a predefined ugly hash code. I used to be able to enter folder id similar to folder label and folder path. I would like define folder id myself. I am syncing my home directories in several machines. Why is this change is needed? Is there any way to circumvent this new behavior.

This is a bug that is going to be fixed in the upcoming release (see https://forum.syncthing.net/t/unable-to-set-folder-id/17957).

The workaround is to add the folder first and then either use the Advanced Configuration or edit the config.xml file and manually change the ID there.
