Add "iOS" support category to the forum?

Currently, the forum’s support category has a subcategory named “Android”. However, taking in to account the fact that Syncthing is also available on iOS now (via Synctrain), and we provide support for it on the forum as well, what do you think about having a separate category for it?

Seems like a good idea to me.

We totally could, if @pixelspark wants to. I think they do support in GitHub discussions so far?

I originally created the Android category to get away from having to follow all the bizarre shit that happens on Android installs… So far that hasn’t been a thing for iOS.

I created a category, it’s available to be put to use.

Yeah I put up the Discussions page so this forum wouldn’t be bothered too much by questions specifically about Synctrain

I think having the category here is great, there is a lot of expertise here and I like this place better than GitHub Discussions. We’ll see how it gets used and what ends up where. I assume discussions about Mobius would be allowed as well to some extent? (I am totally fine with that)

(Note, I am working on an improved support screen inside the app, which will point to an FAQ page, and either Discussions or this forum, and will also have a button to generate a support bundle of sorts).

I think one reason why it’s good to have the category here is that many users aren’t really aware of the distinction between Syncthing proper and a wrapper, so they come for help for Synctrain (or SyncTrayzor, or Syncthing Tray, etc.), and at the end it turns out that it’s a generic Syncthing issue or question. Of course, there is no reason why you cannot use GH Discussions as well, if that’s how you like it .

As for Mobius, being a commercial product, we have always sent those users to their respective support, although I’ve also seen some cases of “Mobius issues” that were just questions about Syncthing itself.
