Absolutely Confused: Scanning stuck with no progress

Nothing change, rebooted and now the scanning is stuck saying that all of the files are out of sync (actually more than whatever is recorded in the global state). There are no errors in the log.

Any ideas? Absolutely paranoid about losing my data! Thanks for any help you can!

Alright, I am not really sure what happened. After waiting hours with no since of change, I decided to move a file over and see what happens. That trigger a complete rescan and everything synced. Not sure why.

And now it is back to saying… “Scanning” with no progress for hours. What can I do here?!

In the Web GUI, if you go to “Actions → Logs → Debugging Facilities”, you can enable “scanner” and then check the log in real time to see what Syncthing is doing exactly.

Thanks for the type, turns out inotify max was reached. Will have to work with the Docker creator to figure out how to up it.
