Hi all,
I have an old iMac, which OS version is 10.8.5.
Since I need run some program on old MacOS version, I cannot update the MacOS.
And I found the old post said the Syncthing ver 1.0.0 can run on MacOS 10.8.5, and I found the download on release page
Syncthing-1.0.0-2.dmg
But it seems not work on MacOS 10.8.5, it only work on MacOS 10.10 or above.
Even I download the oldest version, still cannot run on MacOS 10.8.5.
Can anyone share the version which work on MacOS 10.8.5? Thanks!

You’re looking at the Syncthing-macOS wrapper which may have other requirements. I’d suggest trying Release v1.0.1 · syncthing/syncthing · GitHub directly (if 1.0.0 works, 1.0.1 should too). If that doesn’t work you can work backwards from that release.

FWIW I successfully use the old QSyncthingTray wrapper on OS X 10.8.5:
I think I might have had to turn off the automatic updates so the Syncthing binary didn’t update beyond 1.0.0.

Thanks!
It works!
Would you mind to tell me how to turn off the automatic updates?
Thanks again!

Thanks @esingress - glad to hear it’s working for you!
Unless someone corrects me here, I think you just need to set Actions > Advanced > Options > Auto Upgrade Interval (hours) to 0 .

Actions → Settings → TAB “General” → “Automatic upgrades” set to “No upgrades”
