Why Doesn't Syncthing Close When I Logout

This is mostly likely incorrect, after several tests instant disconnection occurs about 20% of the time on shutdown but not logout.

Is there an audit config to check signal handling?

Thereā€™s the INFO level ā€œSignal ā€¦ receivedā€ log message when a signal is received, causing shutdown.

Is there a reason/difference with Ubuntu MATE that would cause this signal not to be sent? I have numerous machines exhibiting the same behavior. Syncthing is the only service that doesnā€™t exit on logout.

Very strange.

Is there some specific information I could provide you to troubleshoot this?

Sorry, Iā€™m not really knowledgeable about what desktop environments do regarding user sessions, and out of ideas what to diagnose about systemd :frowning:

At this point, itā€™s probably best to ask those who should know how things are supposed to work: systemd-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
