I actually use syncthing together with nextcloud. The syncing of the nextcloud client/server is way to slow, so i use syncthing for my files and nextcloud as frontend for these files. Syncthing is also handy that it’s multipoint, so when I don’t have internet access my Android phone still can sync with my laptop
