Any real plans to implement transparent selective synchronization using Windows Cloud Files API (Cloud Sync Engines - Win32 apps | Microsoft Docs)? I tried Resilio Connect which has this feature and it completely failed to do sync task, so I looking for alternative.
None whatsoever; never heard of it.

. This technology is a game changer for working with large file collections which are unable to sync in full due to limited disk space on a computer. Its advantage—it’s fully integrated with Windows, transparent cache, offline mode for folders and so on. Much more comfortable to use than any app-specific UI for selective sync.

That only works for centralized sync software like Nextcloud.
