Syncthing stays at mode: activating

I’m installing Syncthing v1.14.0 on Centos 7, when I start service, Syncthing stays at mode: activating. The log show: WARNING: Error opening database: open /home/syncthinguser/.config/syncthing/index-v0.14.0.db/LOCK: read-only file system (is another instance of Syncthing running?) INFO: syncthing v1.14.0 “Fermium Flea” (go1.16 linux-amd64) teamcity@build.syncthing.net 2021-02-26 12:21:13 UTC

I have tried to delete the file LOCK but it didnt work, please help.

You have an old, broken, systemd and need to remove the hardening options from Syncthing’s unit file.

After I had removed the line “ProtectSystem=full”, service started successfully
