I have 3 Unraid servers all running Syncthing. 2 of them have linuxserver.io versions and the other has binhex version.
The 2 Linuxserver versions of Syncthing have been showing just the same 2 lines in the log for days. The only thing that changes is the time and date stamp of the lines. It look like it seems to be restarting the migration at 4am everyday, but not then actually doing nothing:
If Syncthing is running inside a container, you should update the container itself. I’m a bit puzzled why the UI prompts for an upgrade with the noupdate flag.
Thank you for your reply. I have updated the container, but the Syncthing webui still shows version 1.30.0 and the Red update button is still there. I thought that container version and actual software version were different? But I could be completely wrong?
The “noupdate” flag in the log above is from a different server, sorry. I have 2 separate issues in the OP.
Encouraginly (hopefully) so far, both linuxserver Syncthings are still showing the exact same 2 lines in the log. In that the same time and date stamp as the screenshot above. So at least they are not restarting over every day. I would expect though, to get more verbose logs? if anything was actually happening.
I still haven’t managed to workout why I can’t upgrade the binhex server version of Syncthing in the second screenshot above?
I would really appreciate any help or input with these issues.
binhex is another kind of repository in the same way as linuserver. they have a lot of dockers that you can install on Unraid.
The good news is that I have been away for a long weekend, and both issues seem to have rectified themselves. All 3 Syncthing instances are now up and running and I can access all the WebUI. All are at v2.0.3 and seem to be working fine again….. so this topic can now be closed.
