Syncthing Ignoring Outgoing Limit

New here, and couldn’t find the answer to this. Sorry if it’s a repeat.

I’ve installed SyncThing on two computers across my home network. I set the MaxSendKbps to 1000 on each (trying to limit it to 1mb/s), but it’s completely ignoring it and saturating my home network. Am I missing something?

By default, connections that SyncThing thinks are on a LAN are not limited.

There is a configuration option to limit LAN network usage as well, though. Switching the “limitBandwidthInLan” option to true in your configuration(s) (and possibly restarting) should have an impact. A bit more info on Options Configuration docs is available.

Thank you! I was hoping I was just missing something.
