I’ve finally upgraded my Synology DS220+, which has an Intel processor, to DSM 7. The Syncthing package was working fine on DSM 6, but it’s incompatible with DSM 7. I am unable to find the necessary package in the Synology Package Manager, and the SynoCommunity downloads page doesn’t offer an x86 architecture package. Where can I find it?
I think you have misunderstood the page that you linked to, there is no “generic” x86 arch, but there are for different Intel and AMD x86 arch.
May I suggest using SynoCommunity on the Synology rather than trying to download the package offline.
All those x86 processor models link to the same file.
I went looking for the package because I do not see Syncthing in the list of available community packages within Package Manager. I would prefer to download in Package Manager. Why might it not be visible to me?
The DS220+ is showing as having INTEL Celeron J4025 processor, 6GB total memory, and is running DSM 7.0.1-42218 Update 7.
