# Syncthing App Missing from Play Store – When Will It Return?

I recently noticed that the Syncthing app is no longer available on the Google Play Store. Does anyone know the reason for its removal and when we can expect it to be back? Any updates or alternatives in the meantime would be appreciated!

Thanks for the links. I am aware of it. Any idea when it will be released in the playstore? Due to privacy and security I should download it from the playstore

I think if you read the links the conclusion will be that no, we do not have any idea because it’s mostly out of our hands.
